Game-changing New Perspectives

Curation

Inspire a eureka moment.

Our curatorial services are not about filling a space with visually pleasant objects—it can be that—but we are more interested in forging a narrative with artwork, space, and light. We endeavor to create exhibitions that ask mind-blowing questions and identify where the imperceptible limits lie. We don’t necessarily escort the viewers to reach a specific conclusion but strive to open up previously unseen or unconsidered territories for them and for us, too, to explore and discover new pathways.

We firmly believe that a curator’s job is to help the artists to realize their visions and provide the viewers with a transformative experience. We are excited about bringing artists with diverse backgrounds and working with different mediums into conversations through a group show, and we are thrilled to dive deep into one artist’s practice and inquiries through a solo exhibition. In the end, it is the eureka moments that we encounter and inspire in this journey, from curating to viewing that matter.

An exhibition is in many ways a series of conversations. Between the artist and viewer, curator and viewer, and between the works of art themselves. It clicks when an exhibition feels like it has answered some questions, and raised even more.

What We Do:

Conceptualization.

Our method is to build exhibitions around one idea, question, artwork, or dilemma worth the viewers’ time. We are committed to creating exhibitions with purposes and striking meaningful conversations through the viewing experience.

Work Selection.

We identify the connections among vastly different works and bring them into a vibrant dialogue. Alternatively, we already have topics and questions in mind and look for artworks that present the most relevant insights and challenge us the most.

Interpretive Text.

From wall texts, labels, press releases, catalog essays, and interviews to research papers, we write clearly and purposefully for different audiences. We believe the best interpretive texts help the viewers understand the artists’ visual vocabulary and add relevant and interesting information to make their viewing experience more rewarding.

Spacial Layout.

A coherent narrative is embedded in the exhibition’s logic and structure behind the artworks’ spatial layout.

Logistics and Installation.

We understand the complexity of the tasks and fine details behind each exhibition, big and small, and how much they affect the final outcome. That’s why we always make sure to handle these processes with due diligence.

Catalogs and E-brochures.

We are passionate about editing catalogs for exhibitions, not only as a memento but also as a faithful time capsule for those who cannot visit the show to experience them. Similarly, we love making E-brochures to pique the viewers’ interest in seeing the works in person.
